It is that time of year again where myself and the brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi at Grand Valley State University begin to start raising funds for Canine Companions for Independence, a non-profit organization that raises service dogs for those with mental and physical handicaps. This is an organization we have been working with for the last 22 years and our proud to continue our partnership as we plan to host our 22nd Annual Bike Trip. Bike Trip is an event where we as brothers ride around Lake Michigan for 8 days straight, covering the span of 950 miles on road bikes. Last year we raised a record breaking $39,000 and this year we are looking to set a new record with our goal being $75,000. As the Bike Trip Chairman this year it is my job to ensure we get as close to this mark as possible. My personal goal this year to raise $2,000 for this incredible organization. Any size donation would go a long way in the eyes of my self, my brothers, and most importantly those who have their lives changed by receiving these service dogs. If you would like more information about Bike Trip or CCI, I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I will also attach a link to our most recent Bike Trip video to give you a better idea of exactly what happens while we are on this trip. I will attach a link to my personal donation page if you would like to help us out in our efforts. Thank you for your time and have a great day.
